Cant see all my movies on vudu with roku update#
Why is this? Because after they took over, they gave us an update, not an update to fix something, no! because no one was having problems! This updated had to do with, well basically spying on us! Eating up our memory to the point where things go dark. If one was to do the research, which I have, one will see this all started after Fandango purchased Vudu from Wal Mart! They are responsible for the **bleep** that we Roku owner's are going through today. The problems we face today, is just with Vudu. It is true that they did have problems back in 2018 with apps blacking out, but it wasn't just Vudu App doing it it was most of the others as well.

I'm stumped.Īny ideas as to what might be causing this? I can watch a movie if I search and go directly to it, but browsing is virtually impossible. I also removed and reinstalled the app, but that didn't help. I had thought maybe there wasn't enough storage to house the downloaded images, but the problem persists after having installed a 16GB miscro-SD card. I don't get this with other apps, just Vudu. When browsing titles, the thumbnails start to black out, more and more, as if it didn't have enough memory to load them. I've got a Roku 4 (4400x), and am experiencing something weird with the Vudu app. Here is the 2018 comment that started it : There are posts in that thread about it being an issue still every year from 2018-2021.
While most of us have been seeing this just since the 9.4 update, there is a thread in the Vudu Support Forum that shows it started for some people back in 2018 (YES>2018!!!!). It’s been since, like, at least November?
It’s a shame, but I don’t have any more patience for these people. The Roku app does have more features, but the Apple app works.
